How to compare phlebotomy schools

There is no single best phlebotomy school in the United States. The best one for you is the listed program you can attend, afford, and finish, whose credential your local employers accept.

This directory does not rank schools. A ranking would pretend we observed pass rates, job placement, and teaching quality we did not observe. What we can show is public: address, phone, website, program name, published tuition, reported completions, California approval, and workforce-list status.

Use that set in order. First, can you reach the room? Second, is the price the whole price? Third, does the program include supervised draws and, if you need it, an externship site? Fourth, which exam or state certificate does the school prepare you to earn? Fifth, do two employers near you recognize that result?

A college that reports completions and a private school on a state list can both be the right answer. “Best” without a city name is not a decision. Open the state page, then the city page, and call.

Questions

Why not publish a top-ten list?

Because the public records do not support one. A top-ten list would be advertising dressed as a ranking.

What is a useful comparison, then?

Two or three schools in the city where you will live, checked against the jobs posted there this month.
