Online phlebotomy training
Online phlebotomy training can carry the lessons. It cannot put a needle in a vein. Any serious program still has an in-person lab.
Hybrid listings in this directory say so in the format line: part online, part in person. Use that line. If a school advertises a certificate you can finish without ever drawing blood, treat that as a different product from employable training.
The online portion is a fit if you can study terminology and safety on your own time and still reach the lab on the required days. It is a poor fit if you live too far from the lab site for those days.
California’s approved programs are not a “click through and print” path. State rules expect approved training and documented draws. Read the California page before you buy an online course aimed at that state.

Questions
Can I become a phlebotomist fully online?
You can study online. You cannot complete the skill online. Employers hire people who have drawn blood under supervision.
Are hybrid programs listed here?
Yes, when the public record describes the format. The school card repeats that wording.
